Wash Your Hands Often
With the onslaught of the pandemic, hygiene has become such an essential and vital part of our lives. It is important to ensure that we wash our hands as part of our family routine. We can use running water and soap or hand sanitizers.
Dental hygiene: Brush Teeth 2 times a day
Make this a habit and teach your kids how to brush their teeth by creating a positive relationship which will help them develop a long lasting good personal hygiene.Explain to them how brushing teeth keeps them healthy especially after eating their favorite crunchy foods.
Take a bath regularly
This helps keep the body and the mind fresh and active. To the kids make it to be an active activity by either introducing play toys to make it fun. This will help them grow a regular habit and look forward to it.
Healthy Diet
A nutritious diet is also important for maintaining healthy teeth and gums. Make sure your child is eating a varied, balanced diet of whole foods in appropriate portions. You should limit sugar and other carbohydrates (which accelerate growth of decay-causing bacteria) to mealtimes; offer limited, non-sugary snacks between meals
Practice what you teach
A modeling healthy behavior you want your child to learn is just as important as instructing them how to do it.
